How to Write a Valentine Card

  1. Step 1

Write a handwritten letter and buy a stationary paper to use as a card. Gather all you need for your card. For a more romantic look, write in cursive and use soft colors like pink or passionate color such as red. You can add decorations to the card like lace, cut out red hearts, have a picture of you and your love together.

  2. Step 2

Think about how to describe your love in the letter- is the person funny, strong-willed, shy or caring? Write down a list of the best qualities you love about your mate and put it into words

  3. Step 3

Describe how well the person makes you feel and don't hold back any of your feelings. You can write anything that is short and sweet or very descriptive and meaningful to remind the person the great memories you shared together. Choose what style you will like to write it as a prose, poem or short story of the day you two met then describe how the relationship continues to be strong and full of love.

  4. Step 4

End the letter by writing, 'Happy's Valentine's Day' or 'I Love You' then sign the letter with your name. Make the card even more beautiful by lightly spraying your cologne or perfume that your lover likes on you.
