Dress to impress. First impressions with your appearance either make or break you and does tell a lot on how you take pride in your looks. There is no reason to go out of your way to look extra great like renting a tuxedo but dress good and comfortably, have excellent hygiene and to show you actually care. Your date will appreciate it and you will be happy with the results.

2
Have a light-hearted conversation. Ask your date general questions like, what is his favorite movie or places he like to travel since these questions will not have yes or no answers and will draw out responses. Always hold up your end of the conversation so your date knows you are interested in him. Also when talking make direct eye contact, give a little smile when needed or if you know a good joke, don't be afraid to tell it. After all the date is suppose to fun.

If you want the date to be memorable, break away from the traditional dinner and movie date and go out to a museum, bowling or a walk in the park. Or make plans together to go to a place you both can enjoy and have a great time at, that way, you can determine what she likes and it is a guarantee you both will have fun.

4
Flatter your date. Show her you like her by complimenting on her hair, clothes or personality traits based on your limited interaction with each other. But don't overdo the compliments as it can show you are trying too hard to do well on the date.

5
Be on time. The worst thing you can ever do is leave a date waiting long enough to reconsider his decision of going out with you. This also will show you can't be reliable if the two of you were to become serious.
