How to Enjoy Marina del Rey
Marina del Rey is a piece of land that stretches along the coast of Los Angeles, just four miles away from the airport. The place is popular with both tourists and visitors alike because of its pristine beaches, clean air and open spaces. Covering a total land area of 0.9 sq mi (2.3 km²), Marina del Rey has a large harbor that houses some of the most impressive yachts in California.

Tips & Warnings
Spring is extremely crowded in Marina del Rey, as students and young people stop by during spring break. If you don’t want to be surrounded by big crowds, stay away in April or May.
