How to Plan a Day-After-Prom Activity
-
1
Just like with any other planning for prom, you'll need invitees. Recruit a group of your closest friends to decide who would fit best together for this outing.
-
2
Choose both an indoor and outdoor option. There's a chance your outdoor activity will be rained out, or it will be so nice out that you'll want to ditch the indoor activity. Spring weather is fickle like that.

-
3
Notify all invitees of your plans and get a list of those interested. Let them know of any tickets or fees that will be involved and when and where they should hand in the money.
-
4
Now that you have a number of people, plan transportation. If you know a number in advance, you may be able to borrow a parent's van or recruit a number of drivers.
-
5
Dole out other responsibilities to those who are not driving. If you're going to a park, this may mean making a picnic lunch. If you're going to a baseball game, this could mean booking the tickets. Make a list of the other "To Do's" and hand them out to those attending.
-
6
Prior to the prom, pack a bag for your day-after activity. This will mean a change of clothes, shoes and other essentials, such as sunglasses, cash, sunscreen, etc. Share what you are bringing with your friends just as a reminder to them of what they'll need.

Enjoy your prom and the great day-after activity you've planned!

Tips & Warnings
Day-after activities don't have to be elaborate. After all, you'll be quite tired, so anything relaxing or mindless will be fun. Consider a ball game, a park, the beach, an amusement park or even a walk around the nearest city.
Keep everyone's likes and dislikes in mind when planning. You wouldn't want to torture a friend who hates baseball with sitting through a game when everyone would be just as happy at an amusement park. Consider all the options before you make the best decision for all.
Don't plan any trips that require your parents to drive. Make this all about you and your friends.
You may want to schedule a nap somewhere in the day. Prom is exhausting!
