How to Decorate a Room With a Beatles Theme

The Beatles remain one of the most well known music groups in the history of modern music. People of all age still listen to songs of the Beatles and will probably be doing so 100 years from now. Perhaps you know an individual that is obsessed with the Beatles or maybe you are that individual. Having a room dedicated to the band would be an excellent way to show off your love to anybody who enters your home. Here is how to decorate a room with a Beatles theme.

1. Paint the room with a psychedelic theme. This is a great way to commemorate the Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour area of the Beatles. There are countless ways that you could go about this, depending on your imagination and artistic ability.

2. Find a replica Yellow Submarine and place it somewhere in the room. Numerous toy Yellow Submarines have been made throughout the years. These can be found at music stores, places that sell Beatles merchandise and online.

3. Place posters of the Beatles throughout the room. You can easily find posters of the Beatles with pictures of the band as their popular began to rise all the way through Abbey Road and the group's breakup at any big name music store.

4. Buy old vinyl albums with the album covers and place them in the room. You should look for these at antique stores as they're more likely to be in rough condition. This way, you won't feel bad for showing off this merchandise in the room since these items won't be in mint condition.

5. Search for Beatles dolls and action figures and place them throughout the room. These are slightly more difficult to find but can be located at several big name music stores, especially when a special event is coming up. When a new release of a Beatles movie comes out, for example, you can normally find these dolls and action figures in the music stores. As always, you could also search online.

6. Place used guitars in the room to commemorate the musical talent of the Beatles. If you really wanted to be creative and don't mind spending the money, you could buy replica guitars of the instruments that the guys used when they were in the Beatles.

7. Remember the solo work of the individual Beatles once the band broke up. You could search for pictures and posters of John, Paul, George and Ringo from their post-Beatles day and place them in the room, for example.
