How to Use iSkysoft DVD to iPod Converter for Mac
Step1
Confirm that your computer meets the system requirements for iSkysoft DVD to iPod Converter for Mac. Your computer needs to be running Mac OS X and should have at least 512 MB of RAM. You'll also need a DVD drive, a display resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher and have an Intel or PowerPC processor.

Download and install iSkysoft DVD to iPod Converter for Mac from the iSkysoft website (see Resources below). Use the trial version to see if you like the features of the program, but if you plan to use it frequently you'll need to purchase the full-featured version.

Insert the DVD you want to convert in the DVD drive. Close any programs or dialog b oxes that run automatically and launch the iSkysoft DVD to iPod software.

Click on "Load DVD" and choose your DVD. You can either choose the one in the drive or select from movies you already have on your hard drive. If you want to convert IFO files, click the "Load IFO" button and select the files.

Choose which titles and chapters of the movie you want to convert for your iPod and check the boxes next to them.
Step6
Manage output settings from the main window. Choose a format from the drop-down menu and name your output file and path. The path is where the file will be located when the conversion process is complete. It's from here that you can copy the file to your iPod.

Create a quality profile for your movie in the Settings window. Click on the "Settings" button to change the video resolution, bit and frame rates of the video and set the audio encoding. Click on the "Default" button if you don't wish to make any changes and want to use the typical settings. Hit "OK."
Step8
Individualize your movie clips by trimming the titles or chapters. Click on the "Trim" button and drag the Start Time slider to where you want the clip to begin and the End Time slider to the place you want it to end. Hit "OK."
Step9
Use the "Crop" button to change the size of the frame or remove the black edges. Drag the frame around the box until it's the size you want or specify crop values in the boxes.
Step10
Choose the aspect ratio from the "Zoom" drop-down menu. This will specifies the size of the converted video when it's converted.
Step11
Control the brightness, contrast, saturation and video volume effect window. Drag the sliders until the video looks the way you want it and choose a special effect from the drop-down if you wish. Click on "OK."
Step12
Use the "Convert" button in the main window to begin the conversion process. Check the "Shut down computer after conversion" box if you want the computer to power down when the conversion is complete. This is particularly useful if you don't want to have to watch the computer or need to be away from it.
