How to Make a Fleece Pillowcase

  1. Step 1

Measure the dimensions of your pillow. Take these measurements and add three inches to each side.

  2. Step 2

Go to your local fabric store to acquire the fleece material of your choice in the correct dimensions for your pillowcase, as outlined in the previous step.

  3. Step 3

Once you have the material, place the soft parts (the part you would like on the outside of the pillowcase) of each piece of fabric against one another and line them up so that one piece is directly on top of the other.

  4. Step 4

Sew three sides of the pieces together, leaving one of the smaller sides unsewn. On this edge, fold the fabric of each piece down a half inch and sew it to itself. Make sure not to sew the two pieces together. In this step you're creating a hem, so that this edge is not rough.

  5. Step 5

Flip the pillowcase inside out and insert your pillow! Enjoy!
