Things You'll Need:
- A Pellet Pistol
- Pellet Pistol Ammunition (Pellets)
- Safety Goggles
- Target
-
Step 1
Place the safety goggles on your face. Wearing protective eyewear is an important step when you will be aiming and shooting pellet guns.
-
Step 2
Grip the pellet pistol with both hands. How you grip the pellet pistol is a matter of personal technique. Some people prefer to have both hands wrapped around the pellet pistol grips. Others prefer to have only their firing hand wrapped around the pellet pistol grips, while the other hand is under the butt of the weapon, helping to support its weight.
-
Step 3
With the weapon firmly in your grip, raise the pellet pistol up so that your outstretched arms are holding the gun out, directly in front of you. Do not bend your elbows to hold the pellet pistol near your face. You want the pellet pistol held out away from you so that you can take better aim with the weapon.
-
Step 4
Look through the sights of the pellet pistol. The sight closest to you will have a notch or groove cut into it. Squint your eyes so that you can look through this groove to take aim on your target.
-
Step 5
If you wish to fire on the target, gently release the safety switch on the pellet pistol and squeeze the trigger. Should you fire, take a careful look around first to make sure there is no one standing in your line of fire.
