How to Keep Toddler Out of the Fireplace

Step1
Go to grocery store or mass retailer. Once at your grocery store or mass retailer, go down the baby aisle and look for baby proof products. Search for a baby-proof latch.
Step2
Once home, open the baby-proof latch package, remove one of the locks and push each side of the lock in with both fingers until each side is out. Just like this photo.
Step3
Walk over to fireplace. With lock open, place each open piece inside fireplace door handles. Now, insert each open piece of lock into holes on each side of lock and hear the lock snap together.
Step4
Finally, this will keep your toddler or toddlers from opening the fireplace doors and handling the ashes from a previous fire. This is easy to do and saves from telling your toddler, "No", all the time.

Tips & Warnings
