How to Relieve Hypertension Through Hypnosis

  1. Step 1

Suggesting positive things to your subconscious mind while you are in a deep state of relaxation will result in positive things that are beneficial to your health. In a one hour hypnosis session, the hypertensive person is placed into a trance by the hypnotherapist first using an "induction technique" of which there are many.

  2. Step 2

A "deepening technique" is then used to place the patient into a deeper state of trance to ensure that positive suggestions will reach the subconscious mind. This is where the suggested actions will take place.

  3. Step 3

Weekly sessions will follow the initial visit to the hypnotherapist. These sessions are used to record a patients' high blood pressure and monitor is as it's lowered slowly down to an acceptable level. The subconscious mind, being highly receptive in a state of deep hypnosis, will make the changes and comply with the suggestions.

  4. Step 4

As the weekly therapy sessions progress, the patient will see a drop in their blood pressure. This is a benefit from the deep relaxation techniques used in those sessions. Relaxation relieves stress, which is a major cause of hypertension or high blood pressure.
