How to Cut and Paste
Cutting and pasting can be confusing, especially when you have to copy things from one program or website to another. Instead of using the cut and paste options in the Edit menu, there are simple command options you can type in from your keyboard on your Windows machine. For those of you who struggle with copying email addresses or long text from one program to another, read on.
Instructions

1
Highlight the entire section you wish to cut (or copy).

-
-
3
Press the "Delete" key to erase the highlighted section if you are cutting it.

Move your cursor to wherever you wish to "paste" your copied text and press "Ctrl" + "V" for paste; the highlighted text will reappear where you chose.

Tips & Warnings
The Control "C" (cut) and Control "V" (paste) command should work in almost all situations. If it does not work, you can also highlight the section you wish to cut or copy and right-click on your mouse. A small window will open that will prompt "Cut" and "Copy" commands. To paste, right-click again in the location you wish to paste and choose the appropriate command.
