As Halloween approaches, costume and candy shopping begins. But, as you get ready for the big party and Halloween night, why not throw a big bash during the day. Follow these steps to find out how to throw an office Halloween party.

From Quick Guide: About Corporate Team Building
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Send an evite to the staff inviting them to the office Halloween party. Come up with a cool theme that is associated with your company (for example, "The Verizon Ghouls and Goblins Party"). Make sure that the office party is either at the end of the work day or during the lunch hour so that everyone can come.

  2. Step 2

Let all of your co-workers know that they should dress in costume on Halloween and that the best costume will win a prize. Put together a Halloween trick-or-treat bag of goodies for the grand prize.

  3. Step 3

Head to the grocery store and pick up tons of candy, snack trays, chips and dip, finger foods and drinks.

  4. Step 4

On Halloween, decorate the break room, or room where the party will be held, with cobwebs, Halloween decorations, fake spiders and portable strobe lights to set the mood. Set up a food and drinks table and put on a music mix CD. This CD should have popular music as well as Halloween hits like "Monster Mash."

  5. Step 5

Open the door and allow your co-workers to party and have a ball at the Halloween office party.
