How to Make Pancakes in a Baking Dish
Pancakes are a favorite choice for breakfast. But, standing at the griddle for a large serving of pancakes is no fun especially when all you need to do is prepare the batter and bake it in the oven for a special and super easy breakfast treat. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/2 cup or so fresh sliced strawberries
- 1/2 cup or so fresh blueberries
- Extra 1/8 C sugar to sprinkle on top
- Small Baking Dish
- Mixing Bowl and Spoon
- Butter to grease dish

Grease small baking dish. Gather all ingredients. Preheat oven with rack on middle shelf at 325 degrees.

Mix flour, sugar and cinnamon together in mixing bowl. Add milk and a slightly beaten egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until combined. The batter will be lumpy. Pour the mix into greased baking dish.

Top the batter with the fresh strawberries and blueberries. Sprinkle with extra sugar.

Place baking dish into a 325 degree oven and bake for approximately 20 minutes or until batter is set.

Remove it from the oven. Serve immediately and enjoy.

You can substitute your favorite fruit.
You can serve with fresh whipped cream and syrup.
You can double recipe and place in a larger baking dish for larger crowd.
Watch in oven. Don't overcook.
