Instructions

  1. Dry Clean Clothes at Home

    • 1

      Go to your local grocery store or mass market retailer to purchase a dry cleaning kit for home use. A dry cleaning kit can be found in the laundry cleaning aisle.

      Open the kit. Once it's open, take out a dry cleaning bag and one dry cleaning cloth to place in the dry cleaning bag.

      Place the article(s) of clothing in the dry cleaning bag. With the dry cleaning bag open, place an article of clothing, with dry cleaning cloth, in the dry cleaning bag. Zip up the dry cleaning bag and place it in the dryer.

      Turn the dryer on. With the dry cleaning bag in the dryer, close the dryer door and turn the dryer on for thirty minutes or as suggested in your kit. When the dryer buzzer goes off, your dry cleaning is complete.

      Take the dry cleaned clothes out of the dry cleaning bag, place it on a hanger and put it away in your closet.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you need to remove stains before dry cleaning, do this beforehand.
