How to Do Assisted Neck Stretches
Neck stretches can be a welcome remedy after a day's worth of stiffness. To get the most out a stretch, however, you may need to help your neck along.

Keeping your back straight, let your shoulders relax. Slowly, tilt your head back. Place one hand on your forehead and gently push back until you feel a light stretch. Maintain this position for ten to twenty seconds and release.

Tuck your chin down to your chest. Place one hand on the back of your head and gently push down. Maintain this position for ten to twenty seconds and release.

Turn your head to one side and look over your shoulder. Place one hand on your opposite check and gently extend the stretch. Maintain this position for ten to twenty seconds and release. Repeat in the opposite direction.

Tilt one ear to your shoulder. Place one hand on your opposite ear, gently extending the stretch. Maintain this position for ten to twenty seconds and release. Repeat for the opposite side.

Tuck your chin down to your chest. This time, place one hand on one side of your head and gently push your head to your opposite shoulder. Maintain this position for ten to twenty seconds and release. Repeat for the opposite side.
