Rather than wasting time standing over a hot stove for crunchy potato wedges, try this spicy chipotle recipe that cooks in the oven. This recipe serves two people.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 large Russet potato
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle chili pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Large casserole dish
  • Mixing bowl
  1. Step 1
     

    Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.

  2. Step 2
     

    Rinse the potato and pat it dry.

  3. Step 3
     

    Cut the potato into medium-sized wedges and place it in a mixing bowl.

  4. Step 4
     

    Add olive oil, salt, pepper and chipotle chili pepper. Mix with your hands.

  5. Step 5

    Place potatoes in large baking dish and cook until crunchy, for around 30 minutes.

  6. Step 6

    Turn potatoes once after 15 minutes, so they can cook evenly.

Tips & Warnings
  • For a different taste, add more spices.
  • Opening the stove too much will slow down cook time.
