Instructions

    • 1

Fold several pieces of paper towel and place it on a firm surface. Place the item with the ink stain on top. If you can tell which side of the fabric the ink stains are on, place the stain face down on the paper towels.

    • 2

Wet the sponge with water and dab the stain until no more ink comes out of the fabric onto the paper and sponge. Change the paper towel as many times as needed and rinse the sponge so that you do not spread the ink stain.

    • 3

Allow the clothing item to air dry. Using a clothes or hair dryer will set the stain, so let it dry naturally.

    • 4

Take more paper towel, fold it and place it on a firm surface, placing the stained clothing item on top. Saturate the stain with hairspray and place more paper towel on top.

    • 5

Put pressure on the stain to draw out more of the ink from the fabric. The stain should fade considerably.

    • 6

Spray the stain with laundry remover and allow it to sit for at least an hour. Then launder the item as usual. You may have to repeat this last step.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not put the item in a dryer until you are sure the stain is completely removed.
