How to Make Shamrock Shakes

Things You'll Need

  • Mint ice cream or mint chocolate chip ice cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • Green food coloring (if your ice cream does not already come with the green coloring)

      Choose your favorite mint ice cream from the local grocery store. For chocolate lovers, you can also use mint chocolate chip ice cream. Place 3 or 4 large scoops of ice cream in the blender.

      Add 1 cup of milk (whichever fat content you prefer).

      Blend. You may need to occasionally shut off the blender and move the creamy mix away from the blades.

      Mix until the mixture is a shake-like consistency.

      Add more milk if the mixture is too thick. Add more ice cream if it is too thin.

      Pour into cups, add a straw and enjoy this delicious frozen treat.
