For your next party, treat your guests to their very own swag bag filled with awesome party gifts, even if it is on a less expensive scale than Hollywood swag.

Instructions

1. Choose gift bags or containers. Depending on your party theme, buy gift bags or containers in a color and shape that match your theme. For example, for a Hollywood themed party, pick up some gold star-shaped bags or choose a star-shaped gift box. Check party supply stores, craft stores and florist wholesale shops for options.

2. Choose swag items. Now it's time to choose the items you'll place in the bags. Peruse bulk stores and discount stores where you can buy in volume in save money. Inexpensive swag can include candles, small bottles of lotion and perfume, mini bottles of alcohol, bath/spa items like sea salts, small make-up kits and t-shirts with the party's theme on it.

3. Gather donations. If the party is for a charitable event, most stores or companies may give you items for free. This will cut down on your expenses. Also, check with friends who own stores or businesses and see if they would be willing to donate items.

4. Assemble the swag bags. Once you've gathered all of your swag, put the items in the gift bags and place them on a table to be given away at some point during the event.
