Start at antiqueradios.com. This is an impressive web site that offers the antique radio enthusiast everything they could possibly want including connections to clubs, article about antique radios and yes, a classified section! This is the place you can get some really nice collectibles and information to get your started on your treasure hunt.

  2. Step 2

Next, go to eBay. A recent search for antique radios there came up with over 500 entries at price points anywhere from one dollar to four hundred. Many ads request pick up of item as shipping may be costly, so always check each ad for both price and shipping or pick up details.

  3. Step 3

If you want instant gratification head out to your local flea market, antique shops, estate and garage sales. Get an idea of prices on eBay, and then go on a treasure hunt! You can often get the lesser quality but equally pretty vintage radios in places like this, but keep an idea of a style or theme you want to collect and try to stay within that limit. Bring cash to barter for a discount!

  4. Step 4

Check out antique radio clubs on the Internet. Antiqueradios.com has a listing by state that can help you make the connections you need to find the vintage radios to complete your collection. They even list some international resources to make it easy for you to get a really unique piece and part. Cool.

  5. Step 5

Finally, if convenience is your thing, check out www.neweraantiques.com. This is a fantastic site with lots of beautiful standing and table radios for sale at decent prices. Price points here are a bit higher than you may find at other places, but the quality and contacts are there to make this a safe purchase.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep in mind where you want to place your collection before purchasing antique radios. That way you aren't tempted to buy something too big for your space.
