  • Rubber gloves
  • Eye protection
  • Disposable towel
  • Toilet brush

Instructions

    • 1

      Get your supplies. The supplies you will need are rubber gloves or vinyl gloves (the kind you use with dishes), some kind of eye protection, any disinfectant cleaner, a disposable towel, a bowl swab and a spray bottle.

      Mix the disinfectant cleaner in the spray bottle with some water to dilute.

      Spray the disinfectant cleaner onto the outside of the bowl. In order to disinfect the bowl, you must let the bowl remain wet for 10 minutes.

      Lower the water level by turning off the water to the toilet and flushing the toilet.

      Spray the disinfectant cleaner inside the toilet. You must let the inside of the bowl remain wet for 10 minutes. Using the bowl swab/toilet brush, begin cleaning under the rim and work down the sides of the bowl.
