Instructions

    • 1

Purchase a roll of numbered tickets. You can get these at your local stationary store. Make sure the tickets are in a double row with matching numbers on each side.

    • 2

At your event, think of an effective way to sell the tickets. Perhaps ten tickets for $3, twenty tickets for $5, or whatever makes sense to you. The goal is to give people an incentive to buy more.

    • 3

When a person buys a set of tickets, rip the row in half, keeping the duplicate half for yourself. Separate each ticket individually and place your half into the drawing bucket. Repeat with each customer.

    • 4

When finished selling tickets, add up your total money. Divide this number in half, giving half to your organization. The other half will serve as the winning money for the raffle, hence the name "50/50."

    • 5

Choose someone to draw a ticket out of the bucket and call out the number. The person who has the matching number wins the money!
