Rollerblading can be a lot of fun once you have the basics down. When you begin to become more of an advanced skater, you can then start learning how to do fun tricks such as jumping. By following the simple steps below, you can learn how to jump on your rollerblades.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Wear gear to protect yourself from falls such as a helmet, elbow pads and knee pads.

  2. Step 2

    Find a smooth surface to rollerblade on. Be sure it is clear of any kind of debris in which you could trip on.

  3. Step 3

    Begin to skate at a regular pace. You can begin to skate faster if you are more of an experienced skater.

  4. Step 4

    Push your feet together so that they are side by side. Pull your weight off the ground by jumping up. Feel the jump from your ankles up. Do not spread your feet too far apart, as this could make you fall down during your jump.

  5. Step 5

    Do not try this trick if you are not an experienced skater. Make sure that you can skate smoothly and quickly without falling before you try to jump on rollerblades.
