Apply Evening Eye Makeup

If you're planning on going out after work and want your eyes to fit the part, there are some quick and easy steps to follow in order to get that great evening eye look.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Mascara
  • Black or dark brown eyeliner
  • One taupe or brown eye shadow
  • All-in-one highlighting stick
  • Concealer
  • Pressed powder
  1. Step 1

Begin by applying a single eye shadow over your lids only.

  2. Step 2

Line your top lid with the black or dark brown eyeliner, following your lash line. Then lightly line the bottom lid and gently smudge the bottom liner by using a fingertip.

  3. Step 3

Use the all-in-one highlighting stick to add a small amount of shimmer under your eyebrow, at the corner of your eyes beside your nose, and directly in the middle of your lid where your pupil sits.

  4. Step 4

Apply 1 to 2 coats of your favorite mascara to the top lashes and then lightly coat the bottom lashes.

  5. Step 5

Touch up any areas that need it. Once you have finished your eye makeup, go back and make any corrections necessary. Then take your pressed powder puff and gently sweep under each eye in order to remove any eye makeup that may have fallen under your eyes.

  6. Step 6

Apply concealer if needed and then lightly set the concealer with a minimal amount of pressed powder. Once you have finished this step, your evening eye makeup should be finished and you should be ready to head out on the town.
