Step 2
Add an itemOnce you have logged in to your account at The Daily Plate, examine the navigation menu at the top of the screen. Locate the menu link that says “+ Add an item” and click that link.
-
Step 3
DescriptionFill out the information on the short form to begin adding food to the database on The Daily Plate. You can either add specific restaurant menu items, specific brand ingredients, or just make a generic recipe. After you have completed the form, click the submit button to proceed to the next step.
-
Step 4
Nutritional informationOn the next screen, enter as much nutritional information as you can for the menu item you are adding. A good place to begin is by adding the totals listed on the nutritional facts portion of the label for the ingredients you used. If you are unsure of something, just leave it blank.
