You spent an hour pouring out your heart on paper for a finely tuned letter to the one you love. You can make the missive even more impressive if you include some heartfelt accessories. You can accessorize a love letter by following your heart and a few simple steps.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Love letter
  • Random trinkets
  1. Step 1

Be unique. Refrain from drawing little hearts around the border, dousing the paper in sweet perfume or all that cliché stuff with which love letters are known to come. Ick.

  2. Step 2

Include a photo. A picture of yourself, somewhere fun you guys went or a sunset over the mountains makes for a warm cozy feeling.

  3. Step 3

Add a memento. Anything from a ticket stub to the first show you saw together to part of a shoelace your broke on your first date will warm the person’s heart.

  4. Step 4

Kiss the envelope. Even though this is kind of cliché, it’s cool. Women can wear bright lipstick to do this. Men can simply write SWAK, or sealed with a kiss.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember, it’s a love letter, not a raunchy sex letter. Don’t include pornographic photos, a mist of bordello perfume or sleazy underwear.
  • Don’t include a lock of your hair.
