How to Use an iTunes Gift Card

There's nothing like the gift of music. An iTunes gift card is very easy to redeem for your favorite music. Follow these simple steps to redeem your gift card.

• iTunes program

1. Launch iTunes.

2. 

   On the left side of the iTunes application, click on the option for "iTunes Store."

3. 

   Once the store opens, click on "Redeem" under Quick Links on the right.

4. 

   Enter the code that appears under the scratch off area (16 characters, alpha numeric). The code usually begins with an "X."

5. 

   You will now see your gift card amount in the upper right part of the iTunes store screen.

6. Now, browse and find the music you wish to purchase. When checking out, you have the option to enter payment information. This is optional as long as your purchase is less than your balance amount. If you are trying to check out and owe more than your gift card amount, you will have to enter payment information.
