Things You'll Need:
- Blanket
- Chair
- Camera
- Sunscreen
- Food/drink
- Diapers
- Toys

Step 1
Snacks and sunscreen. Snacks are something you can bring along, although, once your toddler is at the park, they may not want to eat or drink anything. All they want to do is play. However, make sure they take a break to eat and drink every once in a while. If it looks like it will be a bright, sunny day, pack some sunscreen to rub on your toddler's face, ears, nose, arms and legs (if they are exposed).
-
Step 2
Another adult. To make sure you are able to handle your very busy toddler, you can choose to bring along another adult. For one thing, the park can become very busy and your toddler can be lost easily. Also, many of the park play equipment is for toddlers and older children, which means there are areas in the park equipment where your toddler may fall down and injure themselves. Having a second or third pair of eyes watching your toddler is a plus.
-
Step 3
Park playground. Depending on the type of park you go to, your toddler may be able to play on equipment that is their size. Some playground equipment is made for older kids, so make sure there is age-appropriate equipment for toddlers. They won't have any fun if they can't access the equipment.
-
Step 4
Digging in the sand, If the park sandbox has digging equipment like this, your toddler will have fun, with your help, moving the two moving parts of the digger. This digger has one part to pick on the sand and another to move the sand to a different area. Do not forget to bring your toddler's sand bucket and shovel. Your toddler will like sitting in the warm sand and picking up sand on the shovel to place in the bucket.

Step 5
At the park we went to in this article, my twins were able to play in the sandbox, sit in the swings, climb the steps, run over the bridge and slide down the slides on their bottoms or stomach. My twins are fearless and love sliding down on their stomachs. This park also has a seesaw, rolling log and a balancing table. The best thing about this park is, when it gets hot outside, the mister comes on and children and adults can cool off under it. This park also have a shoe horse pit and plenty of grass to run in, lay a blanket on and pitch an umbrella. There are at least seven benches covered by trelles to keep the sun off the parkgoers and about five tables for parties and a couple BBQ pits as well.Going to the park can be fun. Your toddler or toddler twins will always have a blast and never want to leave. But remember, toddlers will usually only last at a park for an hour or two at most. If your toddler begins to get fussy, this is a good indication they are getting tired. Even if they refuse to leave, it is in your best interest to leave and let your toddler get the rest they need.
