Instructions
  1. Step 1

Find a smooth flat surface where you can stand. Make sure there isn't anything sharp or rough that you could possibly fall on.

  2. Step 2

Have a friend or family member help you stand up or to stand up on your feet.

  3. Step 3

Bend your knees and put your weight onto the balls of your feet.

  4. Step 4

Try to lean forward some without falling over. Don't lean over too far. Hold out your arms to help balance you or find something to hold onto until you regain your balance.

  5. Step 5

Bend forward at the waist a little bit and begin to separate your feet. Hold this pose for a few minutes. Try not to roll or skate anywhere else until you can stand comfortably and safely.
