How to Report Child Porn Spam to the FBI
There's an ugly side to the Internet--child porn. It's good to know you can do something to help fight Internet child porn. The FBI has a very active investigative branch for these crimes, the Innocent Images National Initiative. In cooperation with The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, you can file a report by telephone or email 24/7.

- The offending email
- Computer with an Internet connection (for reporting) or
- Telephone (for reporting)

Go the the main FBI website (see Resources). Click on "Cyber" at the bottom left side of the page.

In the upper right corner, under "Initiatives," click on "Innocent Images: Online Child Pornography Program."

Again, in the upper right corner, under "Protecting Your Children," click on the link under "Report Child Exploitation and Pornography."

Call the Tip Line at 800-843-5678, or contact a local field office.

You can also click on the "Cyber Tip Line" and it will take you to The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Again, click on "Cyber Tip Line." You will be guided through your report and it will be forwarded to the appropriate enforcement agencies. If it was just a specific email, make sure you copy and paste all available details.
