How to Unblock Myspace at School
Internet access is so widely available that many schools (or offices) have decided to create lists of blocked web sites that students and faculty are restricted from accessing. The action of blocking some websites is often a hot button issue when it comes to social media sites, such as MySpace. Students (and even teachers) want to access MySpace, but the administration has blocked it. If you are the type that is willing to defy authority and do what it takes to unblock MySpace at school, try one of these simple methods.

In the address bar of your web browser, type http:// followed by the IP address that was listed. For example, using the IP address from the illustration, you would type http://216.178.38.116 into the address bar. This should then load the MySpace website. Most administrators will block the .com domain, but few will take the time to block the numeric IP address, which may change from time to time.

The cache that you are viewing is essentially a snapshot of the MySpace website that was stored the last time the googlebot was on MySpace. Since the file you are viewing is actually stored on the Google server, which is most likely not blocked, instead of the MySpace server, you are able to bypass the block.

The proxy will load a new page consisting of two frames. The top frame contains the proxy site’s address bar, in case you want to surf to a different site. The bottom frame contains the MySpace web site. Unless the administrator has blocked this particular web proxy, you should be able to successful bypass the MySpace block using this method.
Tips & Warnings
Administrators are always working to enforce their block on these web sites. If one method does not work, then try another. If one web proxy has been blocked, look for another. If you do not give up, you should be able to circumvent the block that has been placed on the MySpace website.
