Step 1
Lay one point over the other.
-
Step 2
Take the overlaying point and fold it under, bringing it up through the newly formed loop around your neck.
-
Step 3
Bring that same point over the top and drape it over.
-
Step 4
Take that same point and slide it under the other point. You can see the loop for the knot forming.
-
Step 5
Thread the point through that newly formed loop.
-
Step 6
Tighten and you now have a perfectly symmetrical, smooth and attractive knot.
-
Step 1
Make a loose knot on one end of the scarf, close to where you want the knot to be worn.
-
Step 2
Adjust and tighten the knot slightly to get this nice, rounded look.
-
Step 3
Carefully thread the other end of the silk scarf through this rounded knot.
-
Step 4
Adjust knot to proper height. Wear the ends side by side or overlapping beneath this pretty, rounded knot. Keep the knot loose for a full look, and to keep the fabric from getting crimped.
-
Step 1
Fold scarf in half, so the top is looped and the bottom ends are even with one another.
-
Step 2
Wrap the folded scarf around your neck, with the loop on one side and the ends on the other.
-
Step 3
Thread the ends through the loop.
-
Step 4
Pull ends until loop fits comfortably around the neck. Attractive for day or evening styles, and also a great way to tie winter scarves.
