Make a Malted Milkshake

Malted milkshakes are a fun throwback to the fifties and are incredibly easy to make. Here are some very simple instructions to make your next milkshake a little tastier. Does this Spark an idea?

Ice cream
Milk
Blender
Flavored syrup (optional)
Malted milk

Instructions

  Add two scoops of your favorite flavor of ice cream to your blender. If you plan on adding flavored syrup than vanilla is your best bet.

  Pour a half cup of milk into your blender. If you want to be creative, add banana, strawberry, chocolate or vanilla flavored milk.

  Add about 2 tbsp. of malted milk. Malted milk is easy to find at your local grocery store.

  If you are feeling adventurous, add some flavored syrup. Chocolate, vanilla, coffee, and hazelnut syrups would all be a tasty addition.

  Blend into a thick liquid and enjoy.
