Use lipstick to help determine your face shape.

When looking through magazines as a child I always stared at all the models with wonderful haircuts and style. They alway said great for faces that are heart shaped, oval, or round faced. Sometimes they had direction on how to tell your personal face shape, but I really quit understood. Here is a simple way to determine your face shape.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Old lipstick.
  • Well lighted mirror.
  1. Step 1

Stand in front of a well lighted mirror.

  2. Step 2

Pull all you hair away from you face. Put it up in a pony tail if possible. Look directly in the mirror.

  3. Step 3

Standing at arms length to the mirror draw the outline of your face on the mirror with your old lipstick.

  4. Step 4

Observe the shape you made with you lipstick. That will be considered the shape of you face.

Tips & Warnings
  • When looking up face shapes the most common descriptions of face shapes are Long, round, square, heart, and oval.
