How to Make 2 Minute Microwave Fudge

It's misleading to say the 2-minute microwave fudge recipe actually takes 2 minutes. That represents the time the mix spends in the microwave. Once its zapped, it still needs to spend time in the refrigerator to settle into real fudge mode. Expect to go from ingredients to finished fudge in about 90 minutes. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 1 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 1/2 qt. dish
  • Wooden spoon
  • Wax paper

Instructions

      Mix the sugar, milk, cocoa, salt and vanilla in a microwave safe 1 1/2 qt. dish.

      Slice the butter and lay the pats on the top of the mixture.

      Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Blend in the nuts if desired.

      Use a wooden spoon to mix the fudge until it's smooth.

      Line another baking dish with wax paper. Pour the fudge into this dish and place it in a refrigerator. Let the fudge chill for at least 1 hour.

Tips & Warnings
