Even the most careful of people are bound to get a grease stain on their clothing from time to time. It's not a matter of being sloppy, but accidents do happen. 1
Squirt some liquid dish soap directly on the stain and work it in with your fingers. Just like the soap eliminates grease from your dishes, it will help break down the grease stain on the clothing. Let it soak for at least 15 minutes.
-
2
Place the clothing in the washing machine with your normal amount of laundry detergent and run it through a full cycle.
-
-
3
Remove the clothing from the washer and check for any remaining stain. If any remains, do not dry the clothing. Instead, repeat the process. If it's gone, dry as normal.

Tips & Warnings
If the grease stain is really set in, try spraying it first with a water displacement lubricant and let it soak for about 30 minutes before pretreating and laundering it.
Delicate fabrics may be best handled by the professionals.
