Things You'll Need:
- Patience
- Understanding
-
Step 1
First and for most get with you doctor and see what he recommends for your infant or baby. In some cases Acid Reflux could be a lot worse in some cases not all. Sometimes it would mean switching their milk or medications in certain cases.
-
Step 2
To see if the Acid Reflux is caused by certain formula try switching to Nestle Goodstart and if that doesn't work try Lactose Free. In most cases the doctor will put the baby on Lactose Free milk.
-
Step 3
With switching the formula to Lactose Free the doctor may recommend thickening the milk up by adding rice cereal. One tsp for every one ounce don't make it to thick to the point where the baby will not be able to suck it through the bottle.
-
Step 4
Now if switching the milk is not enough the doctor will prescribe a medication to give to the baby. On further note try not to keep the baby on it for to long try and cut them off of it because no medication is good for a baby especially infants to be on.

on 5/29/2008 I think my son had that when he was a baby. They put him on rice formula. Great article.
