How to Get GBA Games On Your iPod Touch/iPhone

Follow this simple tutorial to and in no time you'll be playing GBA (Game Boy Advance) games in no time at all!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A jailbroken iPod Touch or iPhone
  • Computer with wifi access
  • SSH client (WinSCP, Cyberduck etc.)
  1. Step 1

    Add this source in Installer: zodttd.com/repo

    Once Installer finishes refreshing, go to Install>Games>gpsPhone 1.5.0

    Download and exit out of Installer.

  2. Step 2

    Download the gba_bios.bin (please google for link, first search result) and place on desktop.

    Now go to your SSH client and connect to your iPod/iPhone.

    Once sucessfully connected, drag the gba_bios.bin into Applications/gpsPhone, set the permissions to 755.

    Create a folder and name it "ROMs" and stick it in var/root/mobile/Media (1.1.3/4) and create a new folder inside of "ROMs" and label it "GBA".

  3. Step 3

    Find some ROMs (Google for torrents, links etc. cannot give out a site's name due to the legality of ROMs). Drag them into your "GBA" folder.

    Go to Media folder and set permissions to 777, set the ROMs folder to 777, set the GBA folder to 777, set all roms to 777.

    Respring iPod/iPhone and enjoy!
