Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Diaper
- Baby Wipes
- Baby powder
- Diaper rash creams/ointments
Step1
Always prepare all the items such as the diaper, the wipes and if needed diaper rash ointments/creams. Baby powder can also be used. I personally I believe that the baby powder irritates the skin because it gets stuck on the skin eventhough you cant see all the time. I do like to use baby powder underneath my baby's neck, and she smells so much better.
Step2
The new diaper must be opened and placed underneath the baby's bottom under the old diaper. Open up the dirty diaper. Use the upper part of the dirty diaper and wipe downwards. Be sure to clean the baby in all parts always from front to back.
Step3
Remove the dirty diaper and seal it up properly so it doesn't open. During the mean time the new diaper should remain open while allowing for it to air dry to avoid diaper rashes from moist. Make sure the area is completely dry and then if you would like you can apply the baby powder and the preventative diaper rash ointment/cream. 6. Seal the diaper properly not to tight. Make sure that the diaper is properly fitted around the baby's legs.
