The cops are on to you and you’ve got to loose the heat fast. What do you do?

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate
Step1
Keep moving. Staying still is the surest way to get caught. Do what you need to do to get away from the fuzz but keep moving!
Step2
Get out of their range. Take a look at your minimap. See the blue circle? That indicates that you’re in a cop’s area of influence. Getting out of the blue circle is priority one.
Step3
Watch for blue/red blips on the minimap! These are additional police units that have been called into the area. Taking back streets and alleys is a good way to avoid them; they tend to come in on major roads. Be careful though, this can get you boxed in if you’re not careful.
Step4
Lie low. Once you’ve gotten out of the cop’s range, wait until the heat dies down and keep your head down. Doing anything illegal like killing someone, destroying a car or causing some damage will alert the police to your presence and you’ll need to duck them again.
Step5
Find a Pay’N’Spray if you have more than two wanted stars. This is the easiest way to loose the heavy heat. It’ll cost you some cash, but that’s a small price to pay for a clean slate. Take it easy once you leave the Pay’N’Spray. If your stars are still flashing, that means the cops are still wary. Any illegal activity will tip them off again and you’ll have to head back to the shop to loose them.
