Things You'll Need:

  • Tax Rebate Check
  1. Step 1

Do you have any credit card debt? If the debt has high interest rates attached to it, consider using the tax rebate to pay off some of the debt. Use the money to better your financial situation. Don't use it as an accuse to go out and spend more money!

  2. Step 2

Anyone in your household in college? If so, use this money to pay for text books or other expenses. College cost continue to rise, and this money may combat some of this.

  3. Step 3

Consider putting the money in a savings account. The economy is not going to get any better anytime soon, so people need to put money aside for a rainy day. Many Americans live paycheck to paycheck! This needs to stop! Every working American should have money in savings in case of emergencies.

  4. Step 4

Are you struggling to pay your bills! Use the tax rebate check to pay some bills. Gas prices continue to rise, and this money can be used to combat that as well.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't go out buy things you don't need!
  • Do what is best for you!
