Things You'll Need:
- Adobe Premier
- A movie ready for export
-
Step 1
Windows Media OptionsTo export a video, just click on the export tab in Adobe Premier. You will be given a number of choices; first let's look at WINDOWS MEDIA options. Notice each choice will give you a number of options. HD options will yield the most resolution and you can select between 1080I and 720I formats. The frame size is important. Notice the LAN option gives 320 by 240 resolution which is the size of the video window. HD choices will give a larger window; mobile phones will yield a smaller window. Notice that each option will give you the file size estimate and the length of the movie.
-
Step 2
MPEG OptionsNext, let’s take a look at the MPEG options. There are more choices in this export window and MPEG is one of the more popular video formats. MPEGS also feature Dolby Audio which many people prefer. Remember to choose the option that yields the highest resolution and largest file size your website will allow. This will assure that you get the highest quality rendering when you export your movie.
-
Step 3
Quicktime OptionsYou can also export files to Quicktime, Real Player and a variety of Flash formats. Each option has a special ADVANCED tab allowing you to specify various options. Once you have made your choice of video file type, click on the ADVANCED tab.
-
Step 4
Advanced OptionsUse the advanced features with caution and testing. You can adjust the frame rate or window size using this codec and even change the shape of the pixels. The most common is to change the frame size which will make the video smaller or larger and to adjust the frame rate. The smaller the frame rate, the faster the motion; the larger the frame rate, the slower the motion. Click OK after you have made all of your selections.
-
Step 5
Export and SaveFinally, you will be presented with a SAVE box. Input your title and make sure you have all sequences selected. Post your movie to your website or email to your audience.
