How to tie a reef knot from 2 pieces of rope

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• rope (2 lenths of)

1. get the rope on the left and put it over the rope on the right
2. the get the left hand side of the left rope and put it ove the other one
3. get two of them stiking up and repeate it on the top but revers it
4. Pull and you are done

Tips & Warnings

• This works best with equal diameter rope
• it is better to practise with string fist
• remenber left over right right over left
• The normal mistake is to make the same half knot twice. The top half is the opposite to the bottom half
