Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Join the two major players for online article distribution. EzineArticles.com and ArticleDashboard.com. Every other site similar are just derivitaives of these two.
Step2
Once your accounts are created, write an article 350 words or more that is informational and educational on the topic that is similar to your website.
Step3
Proof Read your article several times checking for spelling and grammar. If there are mistakes your article will not get read or used by anyone else.
Step4
Create a writer resource box for your article. This resource box is where you will place a link to your website or blog. For example, "Mr. Jones is the owner of XYZ Widgets. Learn more about XYZ Widgets at http://www.xyzwidgets.com"
Step5
Now that you have your article and your resource box, submit that information to the two article directories that you created in step 1.
Step6
These directories exist so people can use your article for content on their site. They in turn agree to publish the article as is, including the link to your website.
Step7
Repeat steps 2 through 6 as often as you can. The more you do, the more links that will be created pointing back to your web site.

Tips & Warnings

  • One article per day is plenty in a single category. Any more than thay and some of your articles will get overlooked.
  • Write on a variety of topics that are closely related to your site.
  • Make sure your article is informational and educational. If it sounds too commercial or like a press release chances are it will get denied by the article directories.
