How to Make A Room Look Bigger

There are many of us who have small room that needs some "opening up". Try these few small tips to get the results of a bigger room.

• Yard Stick, Art Work Pictures, Large Mirror,Hammer, Nails, and Lamps

1. Hang a mirror. Hanging a big mirror always makes any room look bigger. The reflection helps to add "body" to a room. Make sure to put it across from the door entrance or a window, this will help the illusion of a bigger room.
2. Clear away the clutter. Get rid of the unessecary furniture or junk in your room, it will only make the room look more crowded.
3. Give the room plenty of light, preferable 3 points of light in a room. Try to put lamps up on ends tables. Light will open the lost spaces in a room.
4. Hang your pictures at least 58 inches off the floor. You artwork should be a eye level. At this height it makes the room appear bigger and the walls taller than they really are.
