Things You'll Need:
- whole milk
- fresh lemon juice
- Grandma's Molasses
- egg
- vegetable oil
- bran
- whole wheat flour
- baking powder
- baking soda
- blueberries
- lemon rind
- brown sugar
- all purpose flour

Step 1
Using a large mixing bowl, add 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice to 1 cup milk. Allow to sour for about one hour, then stir in 1 beaten egg, 1/4 cup vegetable oil and 1/4 cup Grandma's molasses.

Step 2
In another large mixing bowl mix 3/4 cup whole wheat flour, 1 cup bran, 3/4 cup all purpose flour, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 cup of blueberries.

Step 3
Pour in the milk mixture you made in step one and mix. Spoon into Teflon coated muffin pan and bake at 375 for around 20 minutes or until firm but not over done. A matchstick should come out without dough on it. Makes one dozen yummy and moist muffins.
