How to Open a New Session in Pro Tools

Your Mbox is setup, Pro tools is installed and you are ready to begin a new audio project. Put down the manual and follow these steps to start a new session.

Things You’ll Need:

• Computer
• Mbox
• Pro tools software

1. Launch the Pro tools software.
2. Select File, then select New Session.
3. Name the project and choose where you are going to save it.
4. Choose the File Type, Sample Rate and Bit Depth in the new sessions parameter box.
5. Click Save and the new session has been created.
