How to Upload a Mobile Video to Myspace

Most of us carry our cell phones everywhere we go. Having them allows us to have constant contact with friends and business associates from virtually anywhere. Not only do cell phones give you instant access to voice conversations, but they also afford you access to video while on the go. As long as you have a camera function on your cell phone and a MySpace account, you'll be able to share original video footage while traveling to multiple destinations.

Things You'll Need:

• MySpace account
• USB cable
• Cell phone
• Video
• Umundo account
• JuiceCaster account

1. Use the included USB cable that came with your cell phone data kit. If you do not have one, purchase one from your phone's manufacturer. Most data kits that come with a USB cable also include a CD with software. This software will allow you to automatically upload or download data to and from your cell phone. When prompted, download your mobile videos from your cell phone and onto your computer. After this has been completed, log into your MySpace account and upload your latest videos for others to see.

2. Connect your cell phone to your notebook or desktop computer via Bluetooth. Sync your cell phone data using the included software application that comes with your cell phone. Once your mobile videos have been transferred to your computer, then upload them to your MySpace account in a few simple steps.

3. Use Umundo Beta to instantly upload your mobile videos to your MySpace account while on the go. You'll be able to keep your friends updated with your latest adventures and won't have to wait until you get home. Just simply capture your video footage with your cell phone and send it to the Umundo email address via an email or multimedia message. Then complete your registration on the Umundo website and you can share your video on your MySpace page (see Resources below). In order for your mobile videos to be posted to your MySpace account, you'll need to choose it as an option.

4. Upload your mobile video to MySpace via JuiceCaster. In order to get started, you'll need to create a free account from a computer (see Resources below). Once you log into your account page, you'll be able to copy the embedded code for your JuiceCaster player. Doing this will allow you to upload your mobile videos to your MySpace page. After copying the code, paste it into the “About Me” area of your MySpace profile page. When ready send an email from your cell phone to your JuiceCaster email address with the included video.
