Being lazy is truly an art to be mastered. The house, or any living accommodation for that matter, is the most ideal venue to be lazy in. Being lazy around the house is fairly easily and can be done through many different outlets.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Find a comfortable position on the couch. This can be accomplished by positioning yourself in such a manner that your body sinks slightly into the couch. This position will be most successful if you are laying down. That way, you can get tired easier. The key to being lazy is to be tired.
Step2
Think about the work that could be done around the house. Hopefully, there is an overwhelming amount, hence the easy solution is to do none of it. Just lay and ponder the world around you and ponder the more useful things you could do that would compromise your laziness. It is important that you do not do any of those things. Reading a book, reading current events, cleaning the house, doing laundry--all of these are inappropriate behavior.
Step3
If you start feeling like you need to do something, think of something pointless to do. Here is a list of suggestions:Browse Bruce Springsteen videos on YouTubeTry to find out which Hair Metal bands are having reunion toursWaste time on Facebook, Myspace, etc.Watch a movie you've seen a million timesTake a 4-hour bathCall old friendsWatch TV
Step4
If all else fails, have a beer and/or soda. Eating potato chips or pretzels is appropriate as well.

Tips & Warnings

  • Remember, being productive is unproductive.
