Prefold cloth diapers are useful items to have around the house. Primarily used with a diaper wrap or cover to diaper a baby, they're also incredibly handy for baby care, household clean-up and caring for your car.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Drape a prefold cloth diaper over your shoulder when burping your baby. Prefolds are large enough to cover your entire shoulder and they're incredibly absorbent, which helps prevent baby spit-up from dribbling down the back of your shirt.

  2. Step 2

Lay a prefold out for an impromptu changing pad when you're out and about. Since they're generously sized, you can be sure that your baby's skin will be well protected from the surface you lay him on for diaper changes.

  3. Step 3

Stuff pocket diapers with a prefold or two for extra absorbency. Pocket diapers are great cloth diapering options as they keep your baby's skin dry and the pocket allows you to insert as much or little stuffing as you'd like to customize the amount of absorbency.

  4. Step 4

Use a prefold diaper to wash and dry your car. These soft diapers are the perfect size for car care and will hold up to years of use.

  5. Step 5

Dust your furniture with a prefold diaper. The soft diaper is gentle on your furniture and perfect for picking up dust.
